This session will explore several different leadership models, including situational leadership and servant leadership. Onboarding, orientation, and performance management will also be covered.
Understanding Personality Types – (What’s Your Type? How About Mine?)
In this session, participants will complete a self-assessment to help them identify their personality type and leadership style. This exercise will expose the benefits and advantages of each type as well as as challenges they may bring on. This will also be very useful in identifying the personality types of your co-workers and employees and give you helpful tips on how to approach and communicate with them for maximum impact.
Managing Your Time and Your Energy
In this session, participants will learn how to get organized, set goals, and manage their time. Specifically we will look at ways to manage your time effectively through proper use of delegation and workload distribution.
The Commitment Curve
Next, participants will learn about the commitment curve and how to use it to build employee engagement.
Employee Development Models
This session will give participants a model for effective coaching. “You” and “I” messages will also be discussed, along with the consequences and benefits matrix.
Dealing with Conflict and Difficult Issues
Whether we like it or not, conflict in the workplace is a part of life and proper management of conflict is a very important part of a leader’s tool kit. In this session we will look at effective conflict management strategies for quick and positive results.
When dealt with correctly, conflict can provide opportunities for growth and it can foster a better understanding among those involved. Left unresolved, conflict will negatively impact productivity and destroy important working relationships.
